Ronnie Caywood Music

RONNIE CAYWOOD, a Central Texas Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist, began singing and playing guitar in his early teens, had his own band and when a sophomore in high school, was offered the position of Lead Singer with a national band.   Shortly thereafter, Ronnie served in the U.S. Army, then reluctantly gave up his music to pursue another career, but music was always tugging at his heart strings. His love of music, along with his talent, led Ronnie back into music where he has developed his own unique country style. Ronnie had heard a song that Red Steagall recorded many years ago and liked the song and the recording so much that he decided to record it himself.

Ronnie's original tunes come straight from the heart & thru the lessons that the ups and downs of life and love have taught him and Ronnie remains one of Country Music's secret finds.

Although Ronnie remains modest about his music, you can find him performing with a band, and doing solo or duo gigs just about anywhere around Central Texas & the Hill Country.

Showcased in various Songwriter Nights in Nashville, Ronnie’s also sang at the Bluebird Cafe & the famous Tootsies Orchid Lounge.   Ronnie has shared the stage with Claude Gray, Freddie Hart, Justin Trevino, Phillip Glyn, Mary Lou Turner and Noel Haggard.

Ronnie has performed in the Austin SXSW with Ronnie Huckaby (member of Ace In The Hole Band), appeared on the Austin, Tx. Fox Channel, and filmed a TV Special with Country Singer Claude Gray. He is a member of BMI, is listed in the Texas Music Directory, and is an Associate Member of the Academy of Country Music in Nashville. Ronnie has also been featured in several country music magazines including Canada's only Country Music Magazine.
